My name is Bryan but I’m more commonly known as either Mackie (my surname) or Stevie (a nickname synonymous within my workplace). It’s not that I prefer to be known as Mackie or Stevie, it’s just a general adoption of my surname or nickname; a general disowning of my first. But if you’re given the chance, please do call me Bryan ’cause I’m rather fond of my name: no one ever spells it right.

I’m a self-appointed geek who regards himself as a bit of a Japanophile. Enjoyment comes in the form of computers and computer gaming of which I’m a bit of an enthusiast. Drinker of beers and eater of spicy foods. If there’s a nerd nirvana, I’mma reach it some day.

If I had to describe myself in a lonely hearts ad, it would read something like this:

“Self-deprecator with obscure SOH
seeks similar for cuddling on the
couch listening to alt rock of the
nineties.”
